Every successful business story begins with an opportunity. For Bill and Roy Fleschner that chance came from their Aunt Doris and Uncle Eddie Troll. Married on October 26, 1957, Doris had been a buyer for Bloomingdale's NY and Eddie had been chief electrician for Rheingold Beer NY, both for 17 years before going into business together as owners of a new Meineke Discount Muffler in Glen Head, New York. They built a strong business over 10 years and sold their shop at the end of 1985.

At a family party celebrating a 50th Wedding Anniversary in Port Saint Lucie, a discussion began between Bill and Eddie regarding the need for a Meineke in Fort Pierce, and shortly thereafter an offer of opportunity was graciously given. Uncile Eddie and Aunt Doris would provide the loan and a month of their hands-on expertise at Bill and Roy's new Meineke shop. The nephews were 18 (Roy) and 22 (Bill) years old with little business experience, but because of the confidence and love from their aunt and uncle, the legacy of their support lives on - now in its 21st year!
